Their lightly-textured matte covers are a dark chocolate brown and the durable Smyth-sewn binding allows pages to lay flat. The 400 Series Watercolor Art Book feature intermediate-grade, acid-free, natural white 140 lb. (300 gsm) watercolor paper that is ideal for watercolor, gouache and acrylic. The traditional cold-press surface allows for fine and even washes, as well as lifting and scraping applications.
