Pebeo Setacolor Opaque for Dark Fabric
Water-based colours created for the decoration of most dark-coloured fabrics. Vibrant, matte and luminous. With its heavier texture, Setacolor Opaque is more controllable on fabric and less likely to bleed into the fabric. It is also more opaque and will stand out from dark backgrounds. Colours can be mixed together. Excellent lightfastness. The range offers 20 colours, including 5 fluorescent colours.
Stir before using. Setacolor Opaque for Dark Fabric colours go on all pre-washed fabrics: cotton, wool, cotton wool, knits, jerseys, velvet, jacquard, polyester, blended fibers, nonwovens and even leather. Ready-to-use, intense and concentrated, they are used pure or diluted with water to obtain watercolour effects.
Details:
SURFACES: The majority of fine or thick, natural or synthetic, prewashed dark fabrics.
DRYING TIME: Air-dry in 1 hour.
THINNER: Ready-to-use colours.
OPACITY: Semi-Opaque colours.
FIXING: Two possibilities. 1- With an iron, on the cotton setting without steam, for 5 minutes on the reverse side of the fabric. 2- In a domestic oven, for 5 minutes at 150°C (300°F), (at a stable temperature).
CARE (for decorated fabrics): 48 hours after fixing, the colours resist a 40°C (100°F) machine or hand washing.
TOOLS: Synthetic brushes, sponge, pipette, acetate, stencils…
TOOL CLEANING: Soap and water.
