Description
Herbin Straight Glass Pens
Since 1670, Jacques Herbin writing products have crossed the oceans. In 17th Century Venice, glass pens were very trendy. Today, Jacques Herbin puts them on your desk as ornaments and writing instruments. Discover the smoothness and ease of writing that is unique to handmade glass pens. This is thanks to the small grooves on the tip that allow you to write several lines before re-dipping in ink. Every glass pen is hand-crafted, and therefore unique.
If the nib becomes slightly blunt, do not hesitate to use sandpaper (400 grit) to renew the tip. Gently rub the nib on the sandpaper to renew the pleasure of writing with glass.
J. Herbin manufactures glass pens for writing, drawing and decorating. J. Herbin pens can be found in the toolbox of many calligraphers, artists, penmen and illustrators. Each pen is an individual work of art. The fine glass tips are twisted in a light spiral to hold the maximum amount of ink – enough to write a full page of text without re-dipping.
Pen Length: 16cm
