Holbein White Medium Gesso
This is Holbein’s medium gesso, available in 300 ml, 900 ml or 2000 ml poly bags. Holbein White Gesso is available in 4 levels of “tooth”. Their innovative and unique poly bags use less packaging than standard rigid plastic containers, resulting in less post-consumer waste and allow for easy pouring and storage.

- White Smooth (smoothest)
- White Medium
- White L Coarse
- White LL Coarse (most coarse)
Alternative Gesso options:
- Clear: A translucent, coarse, painting ground base. Use clear to reveal wood grain on wood panels! You may also mix with acrylic colors. Excellent tooth for pastel and colored pencil.
- Black: Great coverage, opaque Black gesso ground. Medium Grit.
