This SNAP show features 23 artists who each created an edition of 6 prints based on their interpretation of this year’s theme Present Impressions. The theme had the participating artists consider what it means to make a print today and to be present in the here & now.
Present Impressions allows us to reflect, remember, and look back, but it also has the ability for us to demonstrate our anticipation, waiting, and the act of looking forward. This theme has been interpreted broadly to encompass anything the artist feels relates and or responds to the present moment, their own experience of time over the past year, or the act of putting ink to paper at home and without our usual community of artists immediately nearby.
While we are apart we are still together, we can connect with one another through print and enjoy the prints from the 2021 Member’s Print Exchange.
