The German Graffiti artist CANTWO has rightfully earned the title of international graffiti icon. For over three decades, CANTWO has maintained a creative consistency and output that has put him into a league of his own. Born 1970 in Mainz, Germany, CANTWO’s artwork has graced the walls and galleries of a the globe. Inspired by pioneers of the New York graffiti movement, CANTWO’s “semi-wildstyle” lettering has morphed into a unique style of his own, also encompassing his now-famous take on illustrative characters and figures. In Mainz in 1970, the German graffiti artist Cantwo (aka Can2) was born. In a world not yet been bombarded with graffiti media, Cantwo awakened to a culture of color and imagination. That culture was later known as the graffiti movement, and CANTWO was to become an icon among the many. Fast forward to 2021 and Montana celebrates the release of the Montana Cans ICONIC SERIES, “Cantwo Cotton Candy”. An extension of the Can2 Cool Candy G6210 color in the Montana Cans GOLD can color range, the can depicts a classic Cantwo character that is iconic of the artist’s style.
