Description

Kawairi Chiri Washi

Chiri means ‘leftover’ and refers to the bits of dark outer bark from the kozo plant that give this paper its distinctive, decorative flecks. The very smooth surface makes Kawairi Chiri very good for printmaking or painting with bold designs. This paper is also good for bookbinding and collage. Find more Chiri papers here.
