A Modern Watercolour brush with Ethergraf ® metalpoint tip is both an historic and state-of-the-art gift idea.
The unique Ethergraf metalpoint tip is made by the Italian specialists of the company SIGNATURE S.r.l. The Ethergraf is firmly anchored to the esagonal handle. The metal tip creates delicate, silver-point lines for drawing and it works well on many papers. The brush handle is lacquered in a matte-black finish.
The brush head is made from pure, blue Russian squirrel hair and shaped by hand, piece by piece, by experienced brush makers.
The Ethergraf comes in only one size – Round Size 12.
This brush is similar to the Series 499 Ethergraf Blue Squirrel. The difference between the brushes is the size of the ethergraf point, which is smaller in the new 599 series, and the handle is not etched. The Blue Squirrel hair of the older 499 is also rarer hair. Either brush would be a wonderful addition to your tool kit.
