In two evening classes, students will learn about form, value, composition, and perspective in drawing. The class will cover different techniques for obtaining correct sizing, angles, and perspective of the objects that students will be drawing from life. Other skills such as shading techniques, like hatching and crosshatching, and tonal sketching (where there are no visible lines) will also be covered in this class.

About the Instructor:

Tammy is primarily an oil painter but she has several years’ experience teaching in a variety of mediums like graphite and pencil crayon. She has taught students of all ages and abilities in schools and for several art clubs. As a professional artist, her work is primarily wildlife captured in oils, but she also does many pencil, and coloured pencil pieces every year, mostly as commissions. Tammy’s work has been shown internationally in galleries and exhibitions and is known for its realism. See more of her work here:
