Let’s create a mountain landscape using a bright, contemporary acrylic palette! This class will discuss tone and depth within a rocky mountain landscape, and how to create the facets of stone we often appreciate about our Rocky Mountains!
About the Instructor: Samantha Williams-Chapelsky is a visual artist working in Edmonton, and is also the Golden Working Artist for the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
She graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Fine Arts and has shown her work nationally and internationally for the past 10 years. See her work at: www.samanthawilliamschapelsky.com
Supplies: You will receive a 20% discount on art supplies from your registration until the end of class day!
- 8″ x 10″ panel (pre gessoed canvas or board) and have a few pieces of mixed media paper handy.
- A 6-colour palette; the small Golden Acrylic fluids would work well for this:
- Titanium White
- Anthraquione Blue
- Quniacridone Magenta
- Nickel Azo Yellow
- Manganese Blue Hue
- Viridian Green
- Instructor to provide an image for students to work from
