Student Supplies:
- Set of good quality soft (chalk) pastels (Sennelier, Schmincke, etc) minimum of 24 (more is better). It’s helpful to have a set of Nupastel in addition to the ones mentioned (they are harder, but good for detail and blending). The cheaper sets will not have good colour adhesion.
- Pastel Premier paper 9 x 12” in Italian Clay – 1 sheet
- Soft vine charcoal medium thickness (about ¼” diameter), not too skinny as they break easily and not too fat
- Kneadable eraser, 18″ ruler, masking tape, smooth drawing board around 14 X 18” (Masonite Panel works)
- Apron (protects clothes from pastels), suitable art clothes, tabletop easel (optional), snack, drink, and your own PPE (mask, hand sanitizer)
You will receive a 20% discount on all art supplies, from your registration until the end of the series!
Artelier is located at 10045 81 Avenue NW, Edmonton (back alley entrance). The workshop space is one block south of The Paint Spot.
