This event focuses on the vast array of Acrylic Grounds & Pastes made by GOLDEN. Setting the best practice for a good foundation – How to prepare surfaces for painting, mixed media and more.
You will gain a broad understanding of many of these products and the unique qualities each offers the Artist when preparing a surface. We’ll be sharing how these products can be used to create both smooth and textured surfaces, the various ways they can be painted with color once dry or tinted with color when wet. We will discuss which products offer a toothy surface for drawing and which offer an absorbent surface for water media. For the mixed media artist, we will share how they can be used to create layers within collage artworks. All of these products can be applied to a wide range of surfaces such as paper, canvas, wood panel and so much more.
