Hands-On Sculpting Workshop With Live Model WITH RYAN KURYLO

10:30 AM – 5:30 PM

$180 ($150 + $30 Supply Fee)

Class Limit: 10 Students

For Intermediate to Experienced Artists

This workshop is designed for intermediate to experienced artists, though focused beginners are welcome. Students will experience hands-on figurative sculpting using professional plasticine clay and live model reference. You will be guided through the process of crafting a small pose-able maquette consisting of a wire armature, covered with clay. Students will then explore several fast dynamic poses from a live model culminating in a final 30 minute pose. This class will help you develop a fast and loose sculpting style which will also benefit your drawing and painting approach.

Gain confidence in your expressive ability and increase your understanding of capturing the human form. Bring your clay maquette home for further practice, or have it molded and cast into a true fine art masterpiece.
