The beauty of printmaking is the ability to create multiple images. In this course, you are encouraged to print lots and trade with others. Print exchange!
Mona will guide you through the process of transferring an image, carving your lino block, and creating prints. You will learn about positive and negative space, how to work with various carving tools, and tips and techniques for making neat and clean prints.
Mona will also demonstrate how to get the most out of your printing tools and materials. At the end of the class, you will go home with your very own carved lino block and prints.
This is a class that is meant to be joyful and we are going to have fun with block prints! Yes!
