Payment for Shipped Orders

We accept Visa, MasterCard and PayPal as payment for orders placed on our website.
Credit is for pre-approved accounts only.
Orders from our website are billed at the time of the order.
Orders placed in the store are billed at the time of shipping.

Credit available on approved commercial and educational accounts only.
Terms are net 30 days. Applicable taxes will be applied.
Overdue accounts are subject to a 2% interest charge per month.

Online Order Return Policy

Your Satisfaction Means Everything To Us!
Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your Paint Spot purchase. Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt, and contact orders@paintspot.ca if:

  • There is noticeable damage to the product.
  • The product(s) shipped to you have been sent in error.

The Paint Spot Ltd. will replace or credit merchandise that is defective, or sent in error.

Returns for reasons other than the above are at the discretion of The Paint Spot Ltd. and will be subject to a minimum of 20% handling and restocking charge. On these returns, the customer is responsible for all freight charges and insurance.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase (date as appears on your invoice), provided the returned product is unused and in saleable condition. All returns require prior approval and an RMA number. Returns without an RMA number will be refused. Please contact our Shipping Department for details. Please print RMA prominently on all packages. Returns will not be accepted without a receipt.
If your shipment appears damaged when you receive it, we recommend that you inspect it before you sign for it. If there is obvious damage from shipping we recommend you refuse the shipment. We cannot take responsibility for items or merchandise damaged by carrier. Contact the carrier immediately if your shipment has been damaged in transit.

If Product was Ordered in Error by Customer:

  • The customer is responsible for shipping charges on the return.
  • A 15% restocking fee will be charged if applicable.
  • Please call for details.

The same credit card used to make the purchase will be credited with the refund. The credit will be made within 7 to 10 business days of our receiving and verifying the returned merchandise.

Refund/Return Exceptions:

  • The Paint Spot Ltd. will not accept merchandise shipped COD.
  • No refunds or exchanges on Special Order Items, Bulk Orders, Cut/Rolled Stock (canvas, paper, film), Clearance Items.
  • The Paint Spot Ltd.’s Gift Cards are not returnable and non-refundable.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable. (We will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or if it has been determined that the product is defective or damaged.)

Retail Store Return Policy

Your Satisfaction Means Everything To Us!
Please keep your receipt in case you aren’t happy with your purchase. Refunds will be given within 30 days of purchase when receipt is provided. Items for return must be unused in clean, original packaging. We regret some items are final sale or exchange only. Please see the list below.

Refunds: These will be made in the form of original payment. The exception will be debit refunds over $500 which will be issued in the form of a cheque.
Exchanges: Producst being returned without a receipt may be exchanged for products or a Paint Spot gift card.
